I-485 package question

Hello,

Could you please advise if for the I-485 copy of the birth certificate is needed?
If yes, shall it be translated and notarized? Please advise. Thank you!
 
A BC will be needed for the applicant and perhaps for the sponsor too. If it is not in English, it will need to be translated.
