Hi Guys,

This is already posted in general 485 related questions:

I am planning to bring my parents here. I changed the job last month using my EAD. However, my H1B is valid until 2005. These are my questions:

1) Do I need to send my H1B papers or my 485 receipts?
2) What do I need to fill in form I-134 for number one if I send H1B instead of I-485 receipt?

If you are not a native born United States citizen, answer the following as appropriate:
a. If a United States citizen through naturalization, give certificate of naturalization number
b. If a United States citizen through parent(s) or marriage, give citizenship certificate number
c. If United States citizenship was derived by some other method, attach a statement of explanation.
d. If a lawfully admitted permanent resident of the United States, give "A" number

I would appreciate if any body could answer my questions.

Thanks,
Kiran

gcuser1, from what I can tell

none of the options apply to you. I haven't looked at form I-134 so I can't say if that applies to you either.

My parents visited me last year and I am on EAD. I did mention my A# on the form. But you also need to send a supporting letter that mentions about your current status and financial position etc.

However, when my parents went to the embassey in New Delhi, the officer did not even look at any of the papers. He just asked them why they wanted to go to US and a copy of my current visa. They were granted a ten year visa w/o hassles.

Good luck...

thanks

Thanks for evrybody who replied to my query. I really appreciate your help and your time.
