Why worry so much ?? Just go to INS center in Metro Drive, Bloomington and tehy have INS certified studio in the same building. The old guy who takes pic there is very funny too!

Not yet! But hopefully next week, I had to send some more photos to my lawyer.

BTW, I have a question regarding EAD, is it fairly easy to get EAD approved at the local INS center? I am not applying for my EAD with my 485, but hoping to get it from local INS once receipt is received? Also, do I need original receipt for that?

I think you need original copy plus a photocopy to submit, but other
things I am not sure. Some say just an ID some say all copies of your
h1s and f1s eads etc. If anybody knows please post.

Sorry about this late reply.. I send my applications filled to my attorney.. Then he\'s gonna print it an validate it and send
the final file back to me and I need to sign it and mail it back to him... Hey, I have a question regarding birth certificate..
I am submitting an affidavit from my dad about my Date of birth ..
is that OK?? My wife had an original BC. I am sending 10th certificate
to validate my dads affidavit. I am still trying to get from India..

Mine is in the same situation. I signed and sent it to the lawyer and
he hopes to file next week. 1 or 2 weeks are nothing for them, these
seem to be busy lawyers. I think you are ok with affidavit only. But
they recommend something from the municipality. If you cannot find from municipality then get it from your another relative like uncle,. brother sister cousin etc. 2 affidavits is perfect,
what happen to your CP to AOS, is there any hassle to switch those.
I forgot which state you are filing from and your field, I may already have asked you ?

I think my lawyer is going to call NSC or NVC and tell them not
to send my file to the Consulate in India..
I am from Houston, Texas , I am a sofware engineer..Our corporate
is in Chicago..I just called India to see if it is ready yet...
Hopefully they are gonna get it..

I thought you were through I-485 already or at least most part of it.
Did you just file, you had to wait after I-140 or what?
 
I filed mine in July\'01. I got married recently and filed for her last month. We even

got the EAD for her today by just walking into the local INS office
