I-485 Nebraska July 2 - No Checks encashed

Hello,

My I-485/EAD application reached NSC on July 2 but my checks are not encashed yet.
My attorney told me that there is only one other person in the same boat whose app was filed on July 2 and everybody else (whose app he filed ) have got their receipt notices.

He mentioned that my case might be transferred to Texas or california......

I am not sure how many people are in similar situation.

Are you sure that your lawyer mentioned case transfers to California? That was for non-immigrant visa processing only.

By the way not all July 2 filers received the Recipt Notice.
 
Yes...he did mention California too...and further added that California will then send them back to Nebraska ...since they cannot process it. I am not sure how this thing works ...so i guess we will just wait and watch.
