I-485 name check

Hi -
I filed I-485 only after my I-140 approval. Is there still a name check?

I did FP weeks ago, online website says FP received. Do I need to call the emergency # to find out the result?

I have done my FP in Nov 2004. My RD is 12/03/2003. When I launced an enquiry I got a letter stating that your case is delayed with security check, no man power babala.

Gurus please advice me what to do ?????

Filed 485 with RD of 12/01/2003, and couple of inquiries in my case have been responded by with "Detailed review"/"Additional Security Checks". 2 EADs, 1 AP, 2nd AP filed..still waiting.........................................

name check question

When does FBI do name check? Right after your submission of 485 or after FP is done? Any advice or comment???????

I enquired some of my friends, they said better to send a Privacy Act REquest ti FBI in mail, up on receiving the reply attach that and write a leter to FBI Director.

Did any one had any idea regarding this .....
