ND 3/8/01 EB2..Sacramento / FL done on 4/26/01 .. still not approved... today he talked with INS info. He told him we just rieceved the FPlast week.
see, it took 3 months to send the FL from FIB.....

Keshta, can u give more details ? I did FP on 03/31...My ND is also 03/08/01 like your friend....In my case they CSC received our FP\'s from FBI on 03/31/01 itself......I talked on 07/17 and IIO told me that they have send my FP to FP department on 06/19 for background check and are waiting for feedback from FP dept..same case with my wife..ask your friend what exactly did IIO tell him ? didd IIO talk about background check etc?

keshta..06/16/01 is a saturday ..CSC must have been on friday before and database updated on saturday or something like that...I think FP gets moved from system 1 to system 2 when CSC asks for background check report from FP department....this is done for every applicant.....

I suspect the so called "background check" is nothing more
than moving FP results from one system to another. There
should not be any more check at CSC since FBI has already
done the background check.

hi Ciba,

I call CSC last month too, the IIO told me that they received
the FP, but still waiting for the background check result. The
FP was received the next day I did the FP. So it seems true that
they still need the background check? or FBI can do the check in
one day?? Thanks!

GC21 what are your details? also what date did u call IIO and how long did it take for your FP background check after CSC made request..
