I-485, Marriage and H-1 with new employer

Hi,

I have applied for I-485 and it's been 8 months. I guess I can use AC21 and switch to a new employer. I am also maintaining my current H-1 and it is valid for 3 more years till 2005. (H-1 stamp in passport).

I am planning to switch jobs as I am getting laid off. Can I use my EAD to work for the new company?

I am also planning to apply for H-1 with the new company too as I need it to get my spouse on H-4. Is it possible to work on EAD and switch back to H-1 whenever its approved?

Can I use H-1b premium processing to get this new H-1?

In my understanding if you use your EAD your H1B will be automatically revoked. If you didn't want to use an EAd and new company is willing to gave you H1B then you can have your spouse at H4 and include her name in green card processing.
yes you can use H1B premium processing and will have answer in two weeks.
