i-485 LUD Changed

I have been out of loop as my i-140 is under RFE and response is not still sent,AND ALSO BECAUSE MY BROTHERS PULLED MY LEGS BADLY. :D

Today my i-485 LUD is changed to 07/13/2004, with no change in msg.

My guess is

a.because of address change
b. FP notice??

both look highly unlikely as I know based on what others have mentioned that Address change does not change LUd on i-485 and also I do not think that FP is the reason as no one after june 5th got and FP.

is there any one else in similer situation.

I see a lots of 485 LUDs getting changed, even without FP. Perhaps they are setting up everything so that only FP is left to be done for approval.

You are close to your 140 approval.

Anyway - we found you. :D

Oh I was not well - nothing else.

It is my speculation that your 485 will be kept ready for all practical purpose(and others too who are getting LUD changes on 485). Only thing which will be missing will be FP. As soon as they get your FP, you will hear aakashvani on approval.

LUD on 485 were changed for me and my wife on 6/24. No LUD change on my daughters 485. She is under 14 and does not require FP.

No LUD change after that till now.
 
My lud was changed to 07/12/2004 for I-485. Before today, I was not able to check the status of my I-140 online and I had initiated an inquiry (three times since last year, latest 2 weeks ago). I tried to check the status of my I-140 today, and to my surprize, It is there and the LUD is 07/12/2004. Another thing I notices was that the LUD for EAD is also changed to 07/12/2004. Interestingly, I received the EAD in mail last week. I have heard that usually LUD change is a good thing. I hope it does not lead to an RFE.

Current Message: Your I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER was received at this office on March 22, 2003. It is taking between 90 and 485 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete.

Hmmm - so you are the culprit! Anyway I should not have done that. Remind me if I do it again. :)
 
Hi,
I am new to this forum.This is good forum.
LUD on my wife's 485 and my EAD(EAD for both of us were approved on 04/23/2004.I don't know why they touch it again) was changed to 06/21/2004. Later LUD on my 485 was changed on 06/25/2004.No changes in my status messages on either 140 or 485.

aks999, my ND for i-485 is sep 26th 2003, I guess we may see few FP notices in near future, thats all i can think of, i never expected any one to touch my 485 so soon spec when my i-140 is under RFE and response has not been sent yet.

JK, just kidding yaar, :p
 
dependants I485 LUD changed after I140 approval

In my case dependants I485 LUD changed the day I140 got approved (07/07/04) and then again next day (07/08/04). However no message changes, and no news so far. My FP was done in February 04. They might be waiting for FBI name check? who knows. In fact I had sent a fax to FBI name check department last week of June (before I140 approval). Hopefully that should trigger something in near future.

Did you send the FBI name check by yourself, or was it requested? Also, can you let me know the procedure to do it.
 
My LUD changed on I-485 me but not for my wife, before that I updated Change of Adress. If LUD does not change when change of address requested, I dont know why it changed for me ??
 
FBI name check happens after FP

we are not involved in any of this. Service center requests for a name check from FBI, and the results are sent directly to the service center. There could be delay in getting that depending on the biographic information (stay in many countries for example)

If we get FP notices with in the next two months , then we might as well see some aug-dec 03 approvals by the end of this year.

Got REF on EAD/AP to send clear photos on 04/25/2004
Sent Photos with Address change request (05/15/2004)through Attorney since it was not updated even we sent AR-11

LUD Change for my 485 05/20/2004
My AP Approved on 05/20/2004
LUD Change for my wife's 485 05/27/2004

I got confirmation letter That USCIS updated my New address on 06/03/2004
I become father of my first babyboy 06/04/2004
released from Hospital 06/08/2004
My EAD Approved 06/09/2004
My I140 Approved 06/10/2004

Now I am not sure I485 LUD change because of Address change or REF reply.
