I-485 Issues

Hi,

We have applied for I-485 in DEC '01 and got our EAD, AP and FP done in Feb '02. I have the following 2 questions.

1. Can my dependent (spouse) go for the GC stamping without me bieng present with her?
2. Can she change just her address, on her own, without me submitting any change of address to INS?

Your spouse can go stamping alone. They do not ask for the primary applicant's papers.
Your spouse can change address for her case alone but I would not advice you to do this, because this can lead to an RFE.
 
My personal advise is do not change your spouse's address, INS is very particular about husband and wife staying together at the same address, I know of one instance when INS called on the home phone number to ensure that husband and wife are staying together by trying to talk to both of them at the same time. You will be calling interview for yourself and your spouse if you go for address change for your spouse.
