I-485 Interview - Affidavit of Support (Form I-864)

I have the interview next week. As an employment based applicant, is it safe to get the Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) form notorized and take it to the interview?

Is the form I-864 even applicable to such cases?
Is this form a legal document for supporting a spouse's I-485 which is tied to the primary applicant?
 
Hi Jaganjai,

I just saw your post today. I have the same concern as to the applicability of I-864 to employment based applicants. Did you take an I 864 form to your interview? My lawyer said I need to have an I 134, but I got an I 864 form from INS together with my interview notice. My interview is next month. Please give me tips on I 864. Thank you very much.
