I-485 in Texas

I have filled my I-485 with Texas Center in September 2001. The received date on my I-485 receipt is October 2, 2001. I am wondering if any of you have got a notice for finger prints yet. What is the time line for that?

Since Texas center has too many cases pending and the Finger prints will expire after 15 months. They decided to wait and get the finger prints towards the end of processing. That\'s what I gathered from other groups. Let\'s hope we\'ll get it ASAP.
 
that is true.

Allthough I called and scheduled FP after nearly waiting 9 months since I filed 485. I got approved 1 month after FP
 
Can you call and schedule FP?

I always tought that INS will send you the notic for FP and you schedule the date and time with your local sherif\'s office...please clarify how we can call and schedule FP
