I-485 & I94 - situation for parent

Hello all,

I have a situation on Green card application of my mother:

1. I130 approved
2. I485 mailed to USCIS on 03/11 (no response yet)
3. I94 to expire on 03/24.

What should be done?

Option 1: Apply for I 539, extention for I94?
Option 2: Go back to India before 03/24 .. but what happens to Finger printing and advance parole?

I believe when I 485 is applied, USCIS puts the status as Pending and her visitor visa is cancelled.

Any comments is appreciated.

she can't file I-539, because she needs to show non-immigrant intent and because it might invalidate her I-485.
If she leaves, that will invalidate her I-485.

sit and wait.
