I 485, How long?

Hi experts, friends, gurus. Following are my details.
EB2, India, RIR labor, I140 aprroved Dec 19, 2000.
485 filed on Jan 10 according my lawyer.
Its been 4 months since then. How long will I have to wait till I get approval? I see approvals from RD as soon as 5/00. Everytime I call my lawyer she tells me that NSC is working on to improve 485 timings. Do you guys see these changes? Any insights will be helpful. Thanks.

Far better to lower expectations than to start wondering when you will get approval. People have been waiting for more than a year so unless NSC pulls a miracle, you still have some time to wait.
Keep checking the boards to monitor progress and hang loose.
