I-485 help

Hi..
 Need some advice guys..appreciate any advice
I aplied for my I-485 on may 3rd....I expect to get my EAD sometime in July....My company is expected to shutdown in July end too...
If I dont have a new job at that time , can I stay legally in the US at that point since I have my EAD(assuming I get it by then )?...what would my status be ?

If you have evidence that you have filed AOS (receipt), you can stay for sure.
