I-485 & H1B

I'm on H1b and thinking of filing I-485. My questions are:
1. Is the H1B still valid while I-495 is pending?
2. Can I still work on H1B if I-485 got denied?
3. How about H4 status for spouse in case I-485 got denied?

YES

2. Can I still work on H1B if I-485 got denied?
YES, You can keep working until your H1 expires.

3. How about H4 status for spouse in case I-485 got denied?
Irrespective of I-485 denial H4 is valid until its expiry date.
