Good News

Good News!!
I just talked to an NVC rep and she confirmed me that the files
I 140\'S that were approved for CP will no longer be transferred
to Chennai until they receive the confirmation from the attorney
or the applicant.. She said that its a new process that they
implemented recently due to the complications.
THIS IS GOOD NEWS...

But what about those that have already been sent out to the consulate offices? ...

This is totally frustrating. I wonder how many such cases there are - I mean there must be thousands of these cases, right? Aside from trying to reach NSC by phone, which is an impossibility, is there any way of determining if our case has been sent out to the consulate office based on whether we have done FP and received the Yellow form?

In the same boat

I\'m in the same boat. you can find more info and similar cases in the http://www.immitracker.com/ Chat Board for Green Card under the following titles:

Spoke with NSC IIO - What a load of nonsense!!!!!

This could be the reason for delay of your case. Please help

What we need to do is to find at least one person who has gone through this mess and got approval. Otherwise it is all speculation. Talk to your lawyers and see if they have such a case. Lets update others and see if there is a quick solution.
