I-485 got approved

Hi friends,

My I-485 got approved on 07/09/2003 and yesterday I went and got stamped in passport. Also they approved for my wife.

My case no : SRC02-124-5XXXX

Priority Date 01/20/1998
Receipt Date 03/13/2002
Notice Date 07/09/2003
FP Date 04/16/2003
App. Date 07/09/2003

I applied two EAD and two AP in this period. I was waiting for 51/2 years and now finally got it.

I have been watching this forum for long time and it was really a helpful site that discuss some important topics which is very very useful.

Thank you all and I will pray God for your early approval.
I know it is really a pain.

Your Notice Date does not look right to me. Can you please check and confirm.

Looks like it is based on PD ???

Since the FP was done in April, 2003 but the PD is 1998.
Also no RFE.

Unfortunately nobody is tracking SRC02-124 in our Data Consolidation Project.

After FP my message was not changed (it showed 900 to 990 ... what ever it is) but for my wife it was.

Your ND and AD cannot be the same? ND should be same month or a few months after RD. Anyway congrats on the approval. Good luck !!

ND means the Notice date for the I-485 receipt. I think you are mentioning the notice date in the approval notice.

Yes. You are right. They have not mentioned any approval date on my approval notice. I assumed notice date is my approval date. How you can find your approval date?

You are right in your assumption of approval date and wrong in the assumption of your Notice Date.
Your approval date is ofcourse the Notice Date in your Approval Notice. Its 7/9/03.
However the notice date that all of us are talking about is the Notice Date in your I-485 receipt notice(you can see this in the earlier notice sent by BCIS after you filed your I-485.

EB3 maybe faster than EB2

Somebody told me last year that EB3 maybe faster than EB2 in TSC. I don't know what is foundation of that.
Congratulations. Now I regret that I did not hurry to file I-485 after I-140 approved in Fberuary 2002. We just 11 day appart.
 
Approval wave

After the recent FP wave, I hope the approval wave will follow the pattern of 2002 and this is a prelude.
