I-485 form questions: Please help

Hello Gurus,

Please help me with these I-485 questions

1. In "Part 1" of the form 485, it asks for A# (if any) --- An A# was assigned to me on my EAD card that i got when I was on F1 visa and applied for OPT( Optional practical training). Should I mention this A# in this section here or leave it blank?

2. In the same section next to (Current USCIS status) it says "Expires on (mm/dd/yyyy)":---- Would this be the date as mentioned on my I-94 attached to my H1 approval notice or the "'D/S"(Duration of stay) which was mentioned on F1 when i last enterd the country..?

Thanks for the reply..

Quick clarification: By latest one you mean date of expiry on H1b approval notice (this would be my current stutus) rather than F1 stamped in passport when i last entered in US.

I think it's self-explanatory - your current status is H1 (attach a copy of your latest H1 approval notice), and it expires on MM/DD/YYYY (whenever your H1 status expires).

Now, in Part 3 they'll ask you "In what status did you last enter?", "Nonimmigrant Visa Number", etc. That's where you'd mention your F1 information.
