I-485 for derivative asylee

Hello guys... I'm a derivative asylee and it has been more than an year since we granted asylum. My wife went for an overseas trip for 65 days. My question is: Can I apply for GC before my wife? or I have to wait for her?

Nothing stoping you from submitting your I-485. However you cannot wait 2 months for the person that was the reason your got ayslum status?

Thanks for your answer...and regarding your question: we just need to speed up the process; you never know how long it will take for each of us to get approved.....so it's not like what you are suggesting.....again thanks for your answer.
