I 485 - Finger Print issues with Husband & Wife

Somebody please clarify the following questions.

I have gone to fingerprinting last week for my I-485. While doing the finger printing, my wife’s fingerprinting didn’t go well. They just scanned one hand and for the other hand asked to come on some other time because of small wound. Do we really wait until the arrival of next finger print notice? Or Can we go next week to give the finger print of other hand?

My finger printing went well and didn’t have any problem.

Does this means that my application will get stopped until my wife’s finger printing is completed? Or will my application continue processing further? In a Nutshell, Are the applications dependent or independent on each other?
 
could you please post what docs needed for FP?

Thanks, as I am trying to figure out whether they need the employment letter at the time of FP.

You don\'t require any employment letter as such. But you require FP notice & a valid photo identity (may be driver\'s license or state id)

that\'s all...you need.
 
Do we get the FP Notice or the Lawyer ?

Do we get the FP Notice or the Lawyer ? How many days after filing 485?
