Hello,
For SINGLE individual filing I-485 (employment based GC) is it required to submit: W2 Tax returns
Read the I-485 form. Does it ask you to submit them?

More detailed answer please! (I-485 form does not)
I'm not sure what additional details you require. The I-485 does not include them in the list of required docs, therefore they are not required.

It's always good to send some supporting documents like W-2 and tax.It will save some time to not get RFE in future.
There's no guarantee that USCIS won't ask for them later, or for something else.
