I - 485 filing..Please help

I am planning to file my 485 application, but my wife is in India. Can I file my application and add my wife\'s application later,since I am waiting for my H1 extension? Will there be any problem in doing this? Pl. advise.

Dont think it will work.

You have to apply your I-485 along with your dependents now.
You cannot add anyone later.
You could always apply for dependents only after you get your I-485 approval which may take several years (sometimes more than 5)
Sometimes it is also difficult to bring the dependents in any other visa also.
So try filing the I-485 together with your dependents once you get everybody here.
 
VisaNumber is same as control number ?

My Attorney has filled control number for Visa Number in my 485 form
Is there a problem with that ? .
