I-485 filing by previous employer

Hello,

I would appreciate any useful advice for my situation.

I used to work for company A, which filed my Labor and I-140.
Labor filed in June 2004.
Labor approved in Dec 2006.
I-140 approved in Jan 2007.

I changed employer in March 2007 and now working for company B.
Company B will file PERM labor in July 2007.

Meanwhile, as EB categories are current, company A has agreed to proceed with filing I-485.

Company A's lawyer told me that there shouldn't be any issue, as long as company A provides an offer letter to me and at some later point I can start working for company A again.

My questions...
1) Is it OK if I-485 gets filed on company A's labor and I-140 approval while I work for ompany B?
2) At what point in time, I should start working for company A again?
3) If my company B's PERM gets approved soon, can they file I-140 and I-485 while I-485 for company A is pending?
4) Is there any risk of company B's labor getting rejected while I-485 files by company A is pending?

Thanks,
SK

1) Yep, they can file I485....
2) It's your wish...you can join now or anytime leading upto approval of GC
3) Yep, company B can file I485/I140 as well....but may be you can file I140 and then reconnect your existing I485 to this new I140...via interfile request....that way you would have only one I485 and not two 485's
4) Nope Company B's labor has no risk...

Is company A okay to provide you an offer letter ? Can v file i-485 from company A , if they are not willing to give employement letter.

Thanks for reply
