I-485 duplicate notice

I got I-485 appoved in April. Today email update says: a duplicate notice is mailed. What that means? Is that possible they change their decision? Does anyone have similar experience? :confused:
 
Same issue

I got today 24 emails - 12 each for me and my spouse for duplicate notice. I recvd my cards in first week of may 05. Please let me know if you guys hear anything
 
I received my GC card already. But my husband's card has been ordered for nearly two weeks, still not mailed. Is that normal? I checked this forum, it usually takes 3-6 days from CO to CM. In this situation, what should we do?

I'm also in the same boat.. I've got approved in april, got stamped in may and still waiting for the cards (for both me and my wife), And got 28 e-mails
14 for each of us yesterday. I also remember I've read an article from murthy.com news bulletin some thime back that they have sent the duplicate approval notices similar to ours, but the lawar was saying that we should get panicked if they send us once again and i think she was mentioning that its the system error. I've tried a lot to search on the same issue on murthy.com also and here as well but in vein. we can directly send a mail to either rajiv khanna or murthy and lets wait for they reply. cos they have seen these kind of situations a lot....
 
Could be welcome letters too

I read in some thread that some of the guys are getting five or six copies of same welcome letters too. I got three emails yesterday with the same duplicate notice send message. Probably I will be getting three copies of welcome letter or three copies of approval letter again ?
 
My wife and I got our greencards few months ago. Couple of months back I've got an email and then a second welcome letter for my wife. I've been a bit nervous about this, since she was out of the US for that moment. (And we all know how damaging USCIS screw-ups may be...) But she returned to the US without any problems or questions from the immigration service in the airport.
So we just added that letter to our vast correspondence with USCIS.
 
wenl, did you receive the letter ? If so what is it. I haven't received mine yet.
 
My laywer called me a few days ago to tell he received another two approval notices-so, just like shree mentioned-do not worry.

As I read your case, your 1st 485 was denied, MTR filed, and you also filed 2nd 485. Which 485 (1st or 2nd) was approved for you, and what happened to the other one ? Did you withdraw it ? Thanks,

My 1st 485 was denied by error, filed MTR and soon a new 485. Later, MTR was granted and the 1st 485 was approved. I am wondering if I need to write to withdraw the 2nd 485. Thanks,
