I-485 Deplayed

Hi,

I noticed that the most recent processing time of I-485 posted on CIS website for Vermont center is 11/12/2002. My case got filed in Vermont center and the notice date is 09/06/2002 which is more than two months prior to the current processing date.

I wonder if this kind of delay is normal and what kind of action I can take for a investigation.

You can..

Call them stating exactly this. They will open a referral it seems. And then you have the option of calling up a senator (from what I read in these forums).

This topic (I-485 Portability) is not where you get the best responses.

I am pre May-31st filer.. my I-485 RD is May 9,2002.. My 2nd FP was done on Aug 20th and no word on approval or online change (even the FP)..

Called NSC, they said they will open a referral case against my LIN # and let me know the result within 30 days.
