I-485 denied, MTR filed and waiting for decision.

To my mind

In the cases like these, which are very important in your life and also some times very delicate one should take any action to be protected from failurs.

If after such a blunder if attorney is not cooperative at all, I would request from him complete copy of your file and hire another good one. If he refuses to do so, tell him that you will file complain with the bar association
 
LUD changed (I-485)for me and wife

Noid was replied 12/23. After waiting for more than 60 days, this morning LUD changed for me and my wife 3/10 and 3/9
What could it mean?
I am very nervous, is it denial? Please...

Akatu, If your responded well to NOID, then it may be approval. Hope for the best.

Please complain to the AILA and the Bar about your lawyers. Please also post the lawyers' names and place of practice in this forum, so they don't continue to build their practices. Hope we all get out of this mess in one piece.

Did you get any good news on your case. when you replied to NOID did they updated LUD and is there any message change like recd evidence blah.. blah...

I know that you have mentioned in your earlier postings said that LUDs after NOID reply. is there any message change also.

I have sent NOID reply four days back and I have not seen any LUD or message change.

Any input from you is greatly appreciated.

After they received reply for NOID, LUD has changed 5 times since the day of arrival with the same message: We received your response to our request...bla,bla ..exactly the same as for RFE... it will take b/w 570 to 600 days....
Since then LUD changed once on 3/9 for my wife (derevative) and 3/10 for myself, change in message. Someone told me that it might be bad sign.
No denial in mail so far. I remember Desiladka or smne else got denial notice in 2 -3 bussiness days after LUD changed. I just dont know what to think.

for me LUDs in Dec 14th and 15th on I-485 (made desicion and no message change). Then again on Jan 28 and Jan 31 (sent denial letters, but no change in message). received denials on feb 3rd. i heard that, whenever denial, they never change on-line message or they never set mails. My I-485 message was showing 'evidence received', till before it got approved.

I dont know about your case, dont be panic. lets wait for couple of days. May be it is approval,who knows.
 
For me:

LUD Change on 3/1, 3/2, 3/3

Received denil letter in my mail box on 3/4. Message never changed. Still did not change.

Will be sending MTR in 5-6 days now.

My 485 got denied (and EAD invalid) and within the notice it says the denial reason is their service records show my 140 denial and it also says i cannot appeal. However, i have an approved 140 notice and it has not been revoked. looks like someone at service center messed it up. My attorney filed a MTR last week. No LUD changes on 485, 485 has the same message all along with the finger printing results received notice.

Is there a receipt for these kinds of filing? How long do we have to wait for a receipt notice for the MTR? Did any one have similar weird issues?? I have seen only one post which is similar to my issue where service center screwed it up and 485 was denied because of a fingerprinting mistake.

If you have filed a MTR, the receipt will come to your lawyer in about 10 - 14 days.

You wont see any LUDs on I-485 till your i-290a got accepted. Who paid fee to re-open the case? If it is you, look at your bank account on-line. Most of the banks, keep cheque copies on-line to view. Backside of the cheque,you can see the EAC# for I-290A.
 
My attorney paid the fees, so i guess i will have to wait 10-14 days to see receipt notice. it's releiving to see someone else was in the same situation and got approved. Thanks guys.
 
NOID Case Approved after exactly one month of NOID Recd Date

Today is my lucky date, I got 4 magic emails saying that I-485 is approved. I am silent visitor for most of the time.

Special thanks for Kamvp, Akatu, banama, desiladaka who has been shared their personal experience which helped me to pass through my days when I got NOID.

Pls see the details below for every body. I got approved exactly after one of reply to noid recd date.

I have noticed one thing that when you replied for NOID if they changed LUD two times then stop means the case likey to approved after 2 weeks or after 4 weeks or after 5 weeks.

If LUD changed more than 4 times after NOID replied means case getting complicated.

Case type - EB3
PD -- 12/30/2001
Labor Approved Date -- 12/12/2003

Concurrent File I-140/I-485 notice date -- 03/30/2004.

I-140 Approved Date - 07/07/2004

FD done - 11/03/2004

NOID issued date - 02/18/2005.

NOID Replied date - 03/10/2005

485 LUDs - 03/16 ( Noid recd ), 03/17, 04/15 ( Approval )

I got NOID issued date 02/18/05 and it says that you have not maintained lawful status between so and so period and provide the evidence if you have.

I have the h1B for that period and I worked for same company who is my greecard sponsor from last 4 1/2 years. I did not worked for any other company. I did not change the company also.

I have send all my h1's , I-94 's and letter from employer and passport which contans visa for those period.
