I-485 Change of Employer Question.

My Company Filed I-485 in April 2001 after I-140 approval.
(I-485 Receive Date:April 18, 2001, Notice Date:June 11,2001, Finger Printing: Nov 24,2001) Still Waiting for approval.
In Sept 2002 my company closed (>15 Months Past I-485).
1 Yr. I worked on contract - Same s/w job (with better earnings)
Recently I have joined New company as Full time.
I had second Fingre printing and third EAD recently.
So far I have not informed INS about My change of job.

Question: Should I inform INS about my new employment? If Yes What is the procedure?

When you worked on contract, did you work on W-2? or 1099?

To my knowledge you do not need to inform about job change. Is your
new job in same s/w classification?
 
I worked on contract thru contracting company, (W2) It was also a software contract in the same field.
My current (New) job is a full time permanent and in the same software field.
