Hi,
In my case, there is a status “Document mailed to applicant” since August 20, 2007. I had SR open in July 2007. See below for detail message.
I missed my 2nd finger print call scheduled on Aug 16, 2007 due to wrong address in their system. I went to local office on Aug 21, 2007 and got rescheduled it for Nov 2, 2007.
Meanwhile, I called national service center and checked my status and as usual random answer from their top 5 but never got word that last document which was mailed to me was green card. And, this portal has cases where somebody get missed document has same status so is me.
I went for 2nd FP on Nov 2, 2007 and within 30 days was expecting some movement in my case even visa numbers are not available (Pessimistic).
I called today Texas Service Center to just check status and got answer that “We have delivered green card on Aug 20, 2007 itself” and if you haven’t yet received and it’s been more than 90 days since GC card issued so you have to file I-90. And, I-90 takes 6 months to redeliver your green card, which I never got.
BTW, I have not got any email notification till date about approval and received 2nd FP call from local office in sometime Sep 2007. If GC card was ordered on August 20 then why local office has issued 2nd FP?
My wife has similar status so called in for her and got connected to different CR and got same answer that “GC card has been delivered”.
I am confused, frustrated and what not … but who listens to us.
Is anybody here have face/heard this kind of scenario? Please chime in so I can make decision using your feedback rather than CR’s random answers.
Thanking you in advance,
