new FBI background check policy
My employer sponsored me for an "R" visa.
I had an "R" visa from 03/15/2004 to 03/14/2007.
The same employer filed I-360 petition on my behalf on 07/19/2006.
On March 9th 2007, an extension for "R" visa was filed for me. Within two months, USCIS asked for additional information about "R" extension and it was provided. I received a letter saying that within 60 days, they will make a decision. After 90 days my attorney has contacted IUSCIS about the case. The following routine letter was received on 10/3/07
From USCIS
"The processing of your case has been delayed. A check of our records establishes that your case is not yet ready for decision, as the required investigation into your background remains open.
Now I have two of petitions are pending I-129 and I 360
My question is : is this new regulation applies to my cases also or it’s only the mention categories?
