i-485 based on asylum. Time frames

Hello Forum

I sent i-485 along with G-1145 form which is to receive notification and status updates on e-mail or phone #.


It was delivered by express mail on January 14th.

What is time frame that I should recieve e-mail or text notification. I called them today and they told me that it takes 30 days to recieve notice. However I have heard that after 3-4 business days USCIS sends notice.

Notice takes 10-14 days. It Takes anywhere between 4 to 6 months for GC depending on the caseload they have and if you need an interview.

i filed my i485 based on asylum around the same date. pls see my timeline below. my application is being processed in the Texas Service Center (TSC). USCIS processing time website is showing some delays.
