Well folks,
I was in for a pleasant "once in a life-time" surprise last night when I checked the AVM.
It said my I-485 case was approved on April 3rd and the courtesy copy notifying the approval was mailed (didn\'t mention when it was posted) to my address. Then I checked my wife\'s case no. - and that too was approved on the same day.
I am still trying to figure out what this event really means to me and my future - I have just heard them from others, and its sure kinda nice feeling when it finally happens to you (trust me).
To all those who have been waiting very long - pls. continue to keep up your spirits and soon a day will come which will be truly yours to celebrate!!
And thanks to Rajiv Khanna for having put up an excellent forum by which all hopefuls could share their thoughts and griefs without any boundaries.
