I-485 average processing time = 292 days

Your I-485 is supposed to be processed within 6 month by September 30, 2006. That is the USCIS goal and they have confirmed it. However, the USCIS has created a new excuse that the delay is due to the security check. Thus, they still can keep the backlog.
