Folks,

I was happy to see the online message and hear the automated voice message regarding my I-485 Application. Mine, my wife's and my daughter's applications were approved on 03/12/2003.

I got laid off well after 180 days of filing of I-485. Worked hourly for a couple of months and then got another contract to hire job in Florida. Now i am going to start with the new company on 03/17/2003 as a Full Time Employee.

05/15/2001 - LC Filed.
06/10/2001 - LC Approved.
07/17/2001- I-140 Filed.
09/24/2001 - I-140 Approved.
11/16/2001 - I-485 Filed
RD - 11/16/2001
ND - 12/11/2001
Ist EAD - 01/02/2002
FP - 02/01/2002
IInd EAD - Nov - 2002 (Dont remember the exact date)
03/12/2003 - I-485 Approved (No RFE)

Got laid off by the sponsoring company on 10/28/2002
Got a contract job to work hourly in Kentucky for a couple of months.
Switched jobs to FL for a contract to hire position on 12/16/2002
Got the offer letter on 03/12/2003 asking me to join them Full Time. Never checked the online message and AVM since 03/12/2003. Checked it yesterday and heard the good news.

This forum has been wonderful and helpful. I thank you folks for all the help. I wish each and every one of you good luck in GC processing and in your life.

I have updated Rupnet and i will also update once i get the approval notice.

How can you get your LC in 1 month?

05/15/2001 - LC Filed.
06/10/2001 - LC Approved.

I also filed LC in California (silicon valley) in 5/2001, but it did not get approved until 9/2002!!! BTW, I am EB2 and my company told me it is fast track LC.

I would appreciate your answer. Thanks!

I dont know. I dont even know where my LC was filed. All i was informed was my LC was filed and its filed in RIR. And i got the email asking me to file for I-140 since my LC has been approved. Sorry that i am not being helpful in this regard. I wish I know how it got approved in 25 days. Everybody asks me the same question and my reply is "GOD IS GREAT".

some companies file for LC for salary ranges well in advance when they have a lot of people on H1.
In such cases, if they have to file for someone's GC , then the LC approval usually takes about 1-2 months only. I have had two freinds of mine with such scenarios.
