I-485 approved!

Hello Friends, with great pleasure and happiness I'd like to inform you that my (and my family) 485 application has been approved. Finally, after a wait of 2 years and 3 months (approx.) it's all over!

It had almost become a ritual for me to visit this site every morning to get the latest immigration updates, read immigration woes of fellow immigrants and share the joy of those approved.

And, now it's my turn to share the good news.....for those of you who are eagerly awaiting their approval hang in there.....the lucky day is drawing near......

Here are my details:

RD: Oct. 09, 2001
ND: Nov. 2001 (don't remember the exact date)
FP: May 10, 2002
RFE: Nov. 19, 2002 (Replied by Dec. 05, 2002)
AD: Jan. 28, 2003

Congratulations. BTW, what was the RFE for. By any chance did you change your company before you responded to the RFE.
 
Response for 485_MD_10022001

The RFE was a request by INS to submit a letter from my company stating their intent to hire me moving forward and paystubs for the last 3 months.

BTW, I didn't change my job throughout the GC process.
