After one year of waiting, I finally heard those magic words from AVM. My details:
- ND 10/00
- FP on 02/01
- RFE on 02/01 for company name change
- RFE replied on 04/01
- Amended I-140 accepted on 08/16/01
- I-485 accepted on 10/09/01

Note: I was really frustrated these past few months. 99% (or almost) of the people with ND of 10/00 have been accepted BUT ME. I know some other guys in this message board with older ND\'s waiting for RFE\'s (Amended I-140). I really hope that they (and every body else) will get their acceptance soon.

did u notify INS after your I-140 ammendment Approval or they knew I-140 got approved?

 
 
Congrats! Glad to see there are RFE cases being approved.

FRE 4 paystub and 3 w-2 forms, replied in May 30, AVM
updated in Aug 10. Still pending.

Can any one tell me if my case can be approved this year? Really
worried about it.

my case is also the same (company name change)
PD - 10/98
Applied for I140 amend (RD - 05/22/01, ND - 07/31/01) still waiting for approval no change in status
Applied for 485 with old i140(old company name)
RD - 06/21/01
ND - 08/21/01
AP recvd. - 09/21/01

I applied for I140 amend. as you know I will get RFE anyway?
I am hoping that I will get 140 amend. approval before RFE is issued by INS
