congratulations. I think your case was transferred from VSC to TSC in March this year, right? You have such an old PD, you really deserve an approval.

Contacted Dick Armey. Initially I called them but was told the routine monologue.."....processing 07/99 cases". So I e-mailed it via the web site. Surprisingly, the congressman was ready to take up my case. Once in their possession, they did a good job of communicating with me on where my case was, when it went to the Adjudicating officer etc. I got it approved one business day before they (congressman) promised that I will hear something. That\'s called influence I guess.

Thanks for your quick & detailed reply. I guess you are lucky because many of us contacted our senators but no use so far. We keep getting the same standard reply of "July\'99" stuff.

My I-485 has been approved as per TSC AVM Monday, Aug. 27th, 2001. Following are our details:

PD: April 1999
LC Approval Date: Sept. 1999
I-140 approval date: March 2000
I-485 Receipt Date: April 2000
FP Date: 06/20/2001
AP: 08/27/2001.
EB3, TSC.

Congrats! I don\'t believe this. They have approved a 4/2000 case and still trying to convince us that it\'s 7/99 cases that they are handling now. TSC SUCKS!

My SRC number was 00-----xxxxx. The fingerprints in June, 2001 were ours first ones and yes, this is EB3 case.

My passport was exiring in another 8 months. The lady asked to get another immigration photo for I-551. All done in 30mins.

FYI:
- contacted senator, their response was
  INS is processing July 99 cases, contact the office after 60 days
- Called INS several times in last 6 months, they keep saying that my
  file is ready to pulled onto workstation.

This group was very helpful and never got a chance to posted any messages before.
