I-485 Approved

I'm very happy to announce that my I-485 has been approved today. I just received the following email from USCIS. Suprisingly, my EAD also got approved today itself. I had initiated a Congressman inquiry into my case last week. TSC had notified the Congressman's office that I have to wait till October, 2007, as the Visa # on my case is not available.

I cannot beleive my eyes. Thanks to everyone in this forum. Thanks to Rajiv.

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR
TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On August 21, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please
allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from
you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call
customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we
process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

This is un-believable.... Welcome USCIS TSC.... Happy to see all these approvals....

Congratulations to you. I can imagine what a sign of relief it must for you. Our priority date is also very close to yours. Could you also share the information, on how to initiate a congressman inquiry, our case is also pending in TSC.
