Wonder how I should enjoy this .. which has come in so late.
Nevertheless .. end to EAD/AP stuff.

I had an RFE (on 485) winter 2006 - ( if terms and condition of the labor is still true?) and then when I called 2 weeks back - the girl out there said that my case is still awaiting the background checks.




Good luck to all waiting and a quick question to guys who got approved..

How did you celebrate this event?

As I waited 999 days for approval when it came through I was very non plused about it all, do not think I celebrated
 
Congrats !!!! I waited over 1400 days for my 485 to be approved and I was very happy when i saw the approval .

You should enjoy the way it makes you happy , but definitely be happy that you are done with GC . There are still few 2001,2002 & many 2003 cases still pending .

So be happy that u r out of this loop . :D

Be happy that you are done with the stupid system and no more extortion fees (every nine months for EAD & AP). Atleast that's a reason to celebrate :)

In my case, I didn't feel overjoyed or anything when I saw the emails ... it was more a feeling of relief !!!

Took me a few days to actually "get" it ... didn't do anything special though (other than a drink/dinner)
