You should get the approval letter in mail shortly. With that letter you need to go to the local INS for pp stamping.

If someone can\'t make it to the Local INS office on specified dates for pp stamping, what is the other option ? Does the plastic card come in mail anyways ?

That\'s exactly what has happened to us. We never got the approval letter. Now we(well, only my husband, i am still waiting) got the card. Will go to the local ins in few days.

Can you post what you put in the employer letter? Is it just another standard employer letter that you filed with your I485, or INS is asking for more evidence?

It includes: job duties, date began the work and the salary. That is all. Very short letter.

Is the date specified in the approval notice, or I can go to the local INS anyday after I receive the approval notice? Thanks.
