I-485 approved

I received the I485 approval notice for myself and my wife today.
Here are the details:
EB2, NIW-SELF (no lawyer)
Location: Boston
PD: September 22, 1998
RD: July 7, 1999
ND: July 28, 1999
FP: May 14, 2000
I485 approval: Sept. 17, 2000
(Sept. 17 is a Sunday. Looks like the INS guys are working on weekends these days :) )

I found this board quite useful over the last couple of months.

Did you change job or research area during NIW (what is your area anyway)?
Did you get any REF from INS?

Could you please tell us whether your message (in INS automated response system) has changed too? How did you come to know about your approval?

hello!
Does PD matters even after applying I485.
in my case i applied GC in 08/1998/EB3 and applied I485 in 08/99 and just curious whether my PD need to be current to get my I485 approval. I got my FP in 08/2000.

Here are answers to some questions asked here:
1. Did not change job. I still have a few months left on my first H1. Area is Chem. Engg.
2. No RFE
3. I first learnt about my approval from the automated message. Got the approval notice 2 days later.
4. The PD probably does not matter as long as it is current. But I am no lawyer.
