I-485 Approved

Hi All,
I've been following this forum for quite a while now but have not posted anything. I really appreciate the advices on this forum and thought that this is the time to share the good news to all that the approval is moving forward.

Here is my timeframe:
RD: Jan 10, 2000
ND: Jan 12, 2000
Fingerprint: April 12, 2004
Approval: Dec 8, 2004

I received the approval notice on Dec 8, 2004 via email notification and is waiting for the letter in the mail.

I did not receive any request for RFE. I guess it's because I've submitted the medical exam report along with the I-485 application.

I wish good luck to everybody who's waiting out there and keep your hopes up. The line is finally moving.

Ranchu, Congratulations! I'm sure you're very relieved now! Something is wrong with CIS, my ND is in Dec. 1999, and still have not heard from them!

It depends on your case-worker. Perhaps, he/she is lagging behind on the cases assigned. Do not worry. You will get yours very soon. Good luck
 
great news. Congratulations!

One question, does date of FP affects processing date by any chance (if we ignore the group that will not get processed this term)? My RD is Dec 28,1999 with ND of Jan 10, 2000. FP was on June 15th (if I can remember correctly). Ranchu FP was April.

Any thoughts? This is probably not related, but again ....
 
Just go to uscis.gov web site, and click on "Case Status & Processing Dates". Follow the instruction there to create/edit customer portfolio account. From there you can set up "Email On" to be notified via email if there's some changes on your portfolio. Hope this helps.

Can any one tell us more detalis about Regester USCIS site. And get E-mail notificatin about new update. I like to Register also--but i like to know what kind of Information they ask to Asylee, and what kind of information i have to give them--Detail would be nice--Good luck everyone
