I-485 Approved

I just got an email from INS after signing up for their update stuff saying that my I-485 has been approved, I also checked the USCIS website and the status says the same.

I am wac03057xxxxx case. I know i will be putting lots of people here in an angry mood. Even though I am happy with the approval I am still in the same mood as i was yesterday about the backlog.I will lend my support to all the efforts that Kashmir and others are taking.

Your I-140 took one year, longer than normal, but this may contribute to no-rfe and quick approval. Late FP might be another good thing.

My I-140 got approved in March, 2003, and then got RFE in March 2004. My 1st FP done in December 2002, and got 2nd FP notice April, 2004.

My 140 took for ever. but my fp was not late. I did it 3 months after i applied for 485.

Now can somebody answer me these questions?

1. who gets the approval notice?

2. I moved to a new address just 2 days ago. i already sent the change of address to USCIS. how will that affect this approval notice and card?

Congratualtions and enjoy your freedom. Looks like your case and my case for I 140 was on the same day but your I 485 was filed later.

In my case they already got my RFE and 2nd FP. I am also waiting those great word message.

Please post your approval notice , and stamping experience.
