Congratulations. Do you have any idea why your case took so long to approve? Did you talk to IIOs? If so can please summarize & post the discussions between you & IIO.

why it took so long? no idea.

I did not receive any RFE. Since October 2001, I have been calling them every 30 to 45 days and their response was "we have a lot of backlog." In Dec 01, they told me that my file was on wrong place. Eventually it would have moved on its own. She put a yellow expedite sheet on my file. On 2/14/02, they told me that my file is moving towards an officer and it started moving on 2/7/02. on 3/14/02, I talk to my lawyer, he found out that my file is assigned to an officer on 3/12/02

on all dates 19th or 23rd, I noticed few more thing
got passport on 19th October
first visa stamp on 19th Sep

AND ...
got married on 19th Nov,

Now I do not know if 19th is lucky for me or not.

I am just kidding.

I will miss this board.

What your automated massage say after you sent REF?

I am in the same kind of situation, PD 1998, RD 9/00. REF received on 2/02, but the message say it will take another 330 days. Any suggestions?
