I-485 Approved without Medical

My colleague just got a call from our company lawyer that he has received his I-485 approval notices for him and his wife.

They have never submitted their medical, nor did they get an RFE. Till today I thought that Medical was a must.

Strange ways of TSC.

His I-485 RD was Aug 2002.

btw Medical is Manadatory, may be he has forgotton that he has submitted his Medical but not spouse.

I know a friend of mine who got approval without FP. So there are some lucky dudes around in this world of GC seekers.

They did not submit the medical. Infact they were waiting for a Medical RFE. Everyone in our company got a Medical in the recent 2 months, except him.

He was asking the lawyer, how is it possible when Medical is Mandatory? The lawyer just brushed him aside saying, "Your I-485 is approved no matter how... Do you have a problem?" :)
