She received her re-fingerprinting notice by mail on a Saturday. The local fingerprinting office works Tuesday thru Saturday. She just walked in with the notice on Tuesday and got her fingerprinting done. No questions asked.

Of course, please check to see the days and hours when your local fingerprinting office is open, before you decide to go there. Application Support Center Locations Map
