I-485 approved today

Finally! Got 3 identical e-mails. There were no LUDs on my I-485 before today's approval, not even after fingerprinting.

That's correct. I'm not from China or India, and so my PD was always current.

My case is very similar to yours. Did you try to find out when your security/background checks were completed??

No I did not try to find out the status of my security checks. I thought I would wait until my Received date (10/18/05) goes a bit beyond the range TSC is processing at the moment.

Fortunately I won't have to do that now. The current posted TSC processing date for EB 485s is Oct. 10, 2005, and it seems that my application was adjudicated very much in their advertised time frame.
