I-485 approved, spouse\'s case Intent to Dny

Per phone message, my I-485 was approved, but my wife\'s case is "intent to deny". Any body with a similar situation? Details:
PD 02/21/97, NIW, China
RD 06/18/99
ND 07/12/99
FP 05/05/00
Approved: 08/16/00.

My case has been approved (last week) but my wife\'s messgae has not changed. I heard that someone had a case like you. INS had sent him notice - they had interpreted her case to be an independent one. This was due to different last name. It was resolved immediately.

My I-485 was approved on 08/11/2000. I am the primary applicant.

My wife\'s application is now "intend to deny". we haven\'t received
the notice yet.

Any idea? What\'s your situation? Got approved finally?

Mine approved on 08/08. RFE for wife on Aug 25th which we have not received till today.

Received RFE for my wife on 08/24/2000, asking for all I-94. RFE sent to VSC on 08/25/2000, received by VSC on 09/05/2000. Still waiting...

Hi, gtvsc, Is you wife\'s notice "Intend to deny" or RFE? Because the message
for my wife says "notice of intend to deny was mailed on 08/06".

My wife\'s notice is "An intend to deny was mailed on 08/21". It was received on 08/24, asking for all I-94\'s. Documents mailed to INS on 08/25, and received by INS on 09/05. Case was approved on 09/07 (per phone message, just checked 10 minutes ago).
