Name check stuck at FBI for 20 months. Only learnt the fact through congressman. Asked FBI for name check results. Name check sent to USCIS in late September, 2004.
I-485 approved in late November, 2004.
I feel very bad for 2001 filers. Do make sure Name Check is complete. Seek help from Congressman/woman: may be better than senator. Asked for Congressman's help since July, 2004. Very helpful.
Faxed Expedite Request and I-485 was approved 5 days later. May just be a coincidence. USCIS denied my Expedite Request, as usual.
