Oh my God,

I can't belive it.

My wife and I got those MAGIC emails from USCIS about our I-485 approvals.

I take this opportunity to thank Mr.Khanna and this forum members.

You guys are amazing, you have been so nice and helpful in this long and stressful journey.

I wish everyone in this forum TONS of GOOD LUCK in their GC process and hope you will also get your approvals very soon.

Which day was your FP done in March? Was it for biometrics?

what email address did u use when u sent the enquiry email to FBI ?
Plus can you please jot down what was the format for the email. if possible post the email that you sent ( ofcouse "*" of all those things that you consider may violate your privacy).

Here is the format that I used:

Sir/Madam,

I have filed a petition with the USCIS to seek and register permanent
residency (I-140/I-485). In this regard, I was fingerprinted on XXXX. I wish to find out the status and results of my fingerprinting, name check and record check as obtained by the FBI and sent to USCIS.

Any information regarding these would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks man. If you see my history, you won't say that I am very lucky. One RFE on I-140 (ability to pay) and One denial on I-140 (on ability to pay), got I-140 approval after 2 years and finally got an approval after almost 4 years.

Since I didn't get an email response from FBI, I don't think my email to FBI would have triggered it.
