Here are my details :
EB3, India
PD : 04/97
RD : 08/19/99
ND : 09/13/99
FP : 08/00
FP had different A# then on I-485 receipt
Got a little worried with this problem, so talked to the lawyer,
as per the lawyer they talked to INS and said they will send
out a new FP notice, which I never got. I went to the local
INS FP office and discussed this with them. They told me that
this (different A#) can happen sometimes.
RFE for I-140 redo (for Company name change) : 10/18/00
Company filed for amend I-140 : 12/00
INS received response : 01/08/01
INS approved response : 01/18/01
PD became current : 02/01/01
I-485 approved : 02/02/01. Very lucky As, I think it is very
rare for anybody\'s I-485 application being approved
a day after date becomes current.
Passport stamped : 02/21/01 (yesterday, in Atlanta).
There was a problem with my wife\'s ADIT style photo.
Fortunately, the INS officer send us to another room
where we got her photo clicked and the matter was taken
care right there. The officer was very coureous.
Hope the card arrives soon.
Got it approved in approx 4 years time period.
I have not been a frequent visitor on this website, but when ever
I have visited, I have tried to share my input.
Finally, I would like to be one of many who would like to thank
Rajiv Khanna for maintaining this website.
Good Luck to all and hang in there!
Veer.
